#13: Food
As I am sitting at my parents house starving, I figured, why not talk about food! I’m not a picky eater. Only a few things I don’t eat. I avoid spicy foods and peppers because they really upset my stomach. I don’t really like seafood. I could eat it, I just really prefer not to. Here’s a list of some of my favorite food places: Pizza Ranch, 5 Guys, Happy Joes, Taco Bell, and mall Chinese. As far as pizza goes, I’m not a huge fan of Pizza Hut. Little Caesars is nice when your hungry and want food right away. I’d have to say I’m a Dominos guy. I love Happy Joes, but there aren’t many around anymore. Closest one to me is about 45 minutes away. Best pizza you can have comes from Chicago! I’m talking about deep dish, baby, from Ginos pizza! Kayla is a very picky eater, especially compared to me. I like to say I’d eat dog shit if I was hungry enough. It makes the meals I cook for the both of us very limited. The main meat we eat in things is beef: spaghetti, sloppy joes, tacos, etc. She won’t eat steak, and she will eat chicken, but only if it is shredded. I love making pork chops or even a whole chicken. I usually do so when my dad and cousins come over for to watch WWE together. Growing up, my mom was an awesome cook and made all kinds of great stuff: meatloaf, Italian chicken, tons of different stuff. I was pretty spoiled considering for a lot of people I grew up with, it was just “eat something out of the cabinet.” Food can also be an excuse to gather together and see each other.
Everyday I will be posting an entry in my writing challenge 100 Days which has been collected into a print collection. If you are interested in purchasing a print collection: http://www.lulu.com/shop/austin-hamblin/100-days/paperback/product-23916414.html
